You might not have known it, but I also had an unhealthy relationship with food. If it wasn&#039;t candy, ice cream, cake, or soda, I didn&#039;t want it. But I&#039;m coming around. My nutritionist has said the following things to me, which have really changed how I see food:

1. Everything you put in your mouth should have some nutritional value. 

2. Plan meals around veggies, and make all snacks a piece of fruit.

3. Plan meals in advance so there&#039;s no opportunity to pick while trying to decide what to eat.
